Kathmandu, May 31:

Ambassador of India to Nepal, Shiv Shankar Mukherjee, today inaugurated a new 25-bed maternity ward in the Mechi Zonal Hospital.

The building was constructed and furnished with the Indian grant assistance of Rs 25.002 million .

In a separate function held in Ilam, Mukherjee laid the foundation stone for the new school building of Karfok Vidya Mandir in Panchkanya VDC. India is providing a grant assistance of Rs 22.56 million for the construction.
