Kathmandu, June 20 :

The Embassy of India has signed five memoranda of understanding with the DDC of Parsa, Mahottari and Siraha and five schools in the districts.

The schools receiving Indian support are Nepal Rastriya Primary School, Parsa, Sharda Secondary School, Parsa, Zilla Uchangal Higher Secondary School, Parsa, Ram Narayan Ayodhya Higher Secondary School, Mahottari and Ram Janaki Secondary School, Siraha, a press release issued by the Indian Embassy said today.

“The government of India will be providing grant assistance of Rs 109 million for improving educational infrastructure in these schools ie, construction of school buildings, hostels, libraries etc,” the press release stated.
