BHOJPUR: An Indian national was arrested with firecrackers from Deurali of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-22 in Sunsari on Friday.

Pawan Das (22) of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-10 was arrested with around 2,100 pieces of firecrackers.

Das has been charged under the Explosives Act, 1961, police said.

Meanwhile, a police team deployed from the Tinkune Police Post, Dharan on Monday impounded an unattended vehicle laden with firecrackers.

The seized firecrackers would be destroyed, informed the Area Police Office, Dharan.
