BHOJPUR: Police on Thursday night arrested a man on charge of thrashing a woman under the influence of alcohol.

According to the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, a patrol team of the Nimuwa Area Police Office had nabbed Bijaya Sardar (25) of Hatimuda-3 for thrashing Rajdebi Sardar (53).

Seriously injured Rajbebi was rushed to the Biratnagar-based Golden Hospital for treatment.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
