LAHAN: An infant died after a tractor hit her at Papri VDC-3 in Siraha district on Thursday.

Puja, a one-year-old daughter of Ram Pukar Mahara, of Tarapatti of southern belt in Siraha, was playing on the roadside when the tractor (Na 5 Ta 1487) hit her.

She died on the spot near her maternal uncle’s house at Brahmapuri, Area Police Office, Bishnupur said.

Police said that the driver is held for investigations while the tractor is impounded.
