Interim govt soon, says KC
Kathmandu, March 25:
A central member of the Nepali Congress, Arjun Narsingh KC, said today that the interim government is likely to be formed tomorrow.
Speaking at a programme organised by the Sambad Club, KC said the interim government will put an end to the “fluid political scenario”. “It is natural for a political party to demand a respectable position when a government is being formed,” he said. He called for the creation of a conducive environment for the conduct of CA polls.
UML standing committee member Shankar Pokharel, however, said the election may not be held on time. Pari Thapa, vice-president of the Jana Morch Nepal, said the CA polls will
not be held on time as parties, rather than making preparations for the polls, are busy claiming ministerial portfolios.
