DAMAK, JHAPA: The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) has donated a bus to the Himalaya Secondary School based in Damak Municipality-1 of Jhapa district on Thursday.

The bus was handed over to facilitate the travel of students coming from far-flung areas to study in the school which has gained a reputation of being one of the best in the district.

According to the school, IOM — which has been engaged in Bhutanese refugees' resettlement in the third country — donated the bus used during rehabilitation process of the refugees to the school after completion of the programme.

IOM representatives handed over the bus and its key to the school amidst a programme held yesterday, informed Principal Bishnu Kanta Jha.
