It will take time for govt’s work to show, says CM Poudel

Province 3 Chief Minister Dormani Poudel today said it would take some more time for people to witness the government’s concrete accomplishments.

Speaking at a discussion at the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives, CM Poudel directed civil servants and people’s representatives to be result-oriented. “It is just six months since the province government was formed. As Formulation of law is a time-consuming task, it will take some time for the public to see the noteworthy accomplishments of the government,” said Chief Minister Poudel.

He directed all the ministries to set priorities before implementing any plan. Poudel reiterated that bureaucrats and stakeholders required to change their traditional mindset to ensure the slogan ‘Happy Nepali, Prosperous Nepal’.

CM Poudel advised the concerned bodies and stakeholders to develop Province 3 in such a way that other states would learn from it. “To relieve the country from the all-pervasive and deep-rooted corruption, cooperation among employees is a must,” he said, and urged the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives to focus on the formulation of laws as the ministry has not drafted a single law till now.

Minister for Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperative of the province Dawa Dorje Lama claimed that the government was moving ahead with new plans and strategies after the political change in the country.

Province 3 Chief Secretary Ananda Raj Dhakal directed his subordinates to ensure the presence of Singha Durbar at the district headquarters, in the local levels.
