ITAHARI: Property worth over Rs 1 million was gutted in a fire in Chhitaha VDC-4 of Sunsari district on Thursday night.

According to the District Police Office, Sunsari, the property was gutted after two houses belonging to Bindeshwori Mehata and Basudev Mehata caught fire. The firehad started from the house of Bindeshwori.

Investigation into the incident was underway. Locals and police doused the fire.
