ITAHARI: Property worth over Rs three million was gutted in a fire in Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City on Monday. The property was gutted after two scrap shops belonging to Ramesh Dangol and Deepak Chaudhary caught fire at around 3:00 am today. According to the Area Police Office, Itahari, the fire at first had broken out in Dangol's shop destroying property worth Rs two million. Later, it had spread to Chaudhary's shop, turning property worth Rs one million to ashes. The fire was doused after three hours with the help of two fire engines, police personnel and locals.
