ITAHARI: Local residents numbering several hundreds today took out a rally campaigning for the return of the lost development projects, including a regional stadium in Itahari.

The rally was taken out by representatives of more than hundred local organisations, clubs, athletics, different professional groups, representatives of political parties, and entrepreneurs, among others. The rally started from the Itahari Municipality office and converted into a corner meeting, at the Main Chowk. They demanded the government to provide budget for the two projects - regional stadium and the greater Itahari project. Executive officer at the Itahari Municipality, Ganesh Dahal, said,'' This is the first ever demonstration by locals in such a large numbers representing our common interest.”
