JAJARKOT: Home Minister Shakti Bahadur Basnet on Wednesday hailed the new constitution for its provisions for the well-being of the people of all classes and communities. “The constitution is a model in the world as it has guaranteed justice and rights to all and sundry living in the country without any discrimination,” said Basnet at a programme organised in Jajarkot district headquarters Khalanga to raise awareness about the constitution. He directed the chief district officer to issue citizenship certificate in the name of the mother as well. The minister expressed confidence that the charter would ensure the well-being of people. Leaders of various political parties spoken on the major provisions in the constitution.
