Janamorcha gen secy hits out at party

Kathmandu, May 13:

The general-secretary of Janamorcha Nepal, Nawaraj Subedi, today criticised his own party for being undemocratic in handling internal issues.

Addressing a programme organised by the Pyuthan Samparka Manch, Subedi admitted that there is an internal crisis in his party. “Though we talk about democracy in public programmes, you all know that there is no democracy in my party,” he said, indicating differences among his partymen over whether or not to join the government.

“Those parties which lack democratic attitude in internal affairs will have to suffer in the future,” he said.

He also requested people to provide all documents, evidences and information on the suppression of the people’s movement by the former government so that the wrongdoers could be punished.
