Japan’s financial support

KATHMANDU: The Government of Japan has agreed to extend grant assistance of 350 million yen (approximately Rs 356 million) to the Government of Nepal for implementation of Food Assistance Programme.

Masamichi Saigo, ambassador of Japan to Nepal, and Prativa Rana, ambassador of Nepal to Japan, signed and exchanged notes to this effect in Tokyo on behalf of their respective governments on Monday.

The assistance aims to support the Government of Nepal in implementing the FAP to ensure food security.
