JHAPA: All educational institutions in Jhapa district remained shut on Sunday.

The educational strike was enforced by Nepal Students Union, All Nepal National Free Students Union, All Nepal National Independent Students Union-Revolutionary and another student body close to Limbuwan outfit.

The students demanded proper compensation to the family of Pabitra Koirala, a student of Sanischare Higher Secondary School of Budhabare. She died after a truck hit her near the school on Saturday.
