With Nepal suffering a crisis of oxygen supply amid the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, Joy Foundation Nepal has handed over 100 sets of oxygen concentrators donated by Milarepa Meditation Center, Sankhu, on behalf of Taiwan LJM Charitable Foundation, Taiwan LJM Buddhist Society, Taiwan.

President of Joy Foundation, Nepal, Raju Shrestha stated that 100 sets of oxygen concentrators will be distributed and delivered consecutively from today to different government hospitals and health posts of remote areas across the country to help mitigate the hassle of searching for oxygen supply and save the lives of people.

He added that the the support will help government address the current situation wherein hospitals and health posts in remote areas have been struggling to meet the demand for oxygen supply and people have to stay in queues to get their turn to get oxygen cylinders. Shrestha also expressed his sincere gratitude to Milarepa Meditation Center, Sankhu for their continued support to Nepal.

Oxygen concentrators will be donated to different local bodies, hospitals and health posts in Nuwakot, Syangja, Myagdi, Gorkha, Solukhumbhu, Manang, Kaski, Bardiya, among others.
