Bara, August 1:

The Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha-Goit (JTMM-G) in Bara has asked people not to extend any financial cooperation to anyone in the name of the morcha without the prior intimation of the group.

In a statement issued today by the morcha’s Bara coordinator, Birat, people have been urged to “punish” those approaching them for donation and cooperation in the name of the morcha.

The statement said that the morcha embarked on an armed revolt to liberate people of the Tarai and called for cooperation of the region’s people in economic, social, political and other areas to defeat “Nepali rulers who have grabbed the sovereignty of the people of the Tarai on the strength of guns.”
