JUMLA: A youth was arrested for allegedly killing his parents from Napani village in Ghuthichaur-2 of Jumla district.

According to DSP Guru Bishnu Kafle of the District Police Office, Bir Bahadur Aidi (30) had allegedly killed his father, Gorakh Bahadur (45), and mother, Jaya Rupi (50), by crushing them with a stone.

Police have assumed that Bir Bahadur suffered from mental illness that led him to kill his parents.

Further details are yet to be ascertained.
