BHAKTAPUR: Chief Minister of Karnali Province, Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, has said that lack of employees and financial resources have led to operational problems in the Province.

Speaking at a programme on Thursday, Chief Minister Shahi said, "There is sheer lack of qualified and skilled employees to run the government effectively. The central government needs to provide necessary human resources."

Although the Karnali province has been reeling under the poverty, it has tremendous development potential. The government there has planned to curb corruption, announce tourism year next year and prepare and implement long-term development plans.
