KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 10

The Kaski District Court has extended the judicial custody of Rabi Lamicchane, president of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), for an additional 13 days in connection with an ongoing investigation into cooperative fraud.

The decision was made on Sunday by the bench of Judge Navaraj Dahal.

This ruling allows the police to continue their investigation into Lamichhane's alleged involvement in the case, following the expiration of the previous custody period.

Lamichhane is currently in custody along with former Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Chhabilal Joshi, Leela Pachhai, and Ramkumar Khanal, all of whom are implicated in the cooperative fraud case.

All of them are facing charges related to cooperative fraud, money laundering, and organized crime.
