Kathmandu-Hetauda Tunnel Highway within two years: CM Dormani Poudel

HETAUDA: Citing that the Kathmandu-Kulekhani-Hetauda Tunnel (KKHT) Highway is a pride project of the province, Chief Minister of Province 3, Dormani Poudel  said that the project would conclude within two years.

Speaking at the oath ceremony of newly elected officials of Federation of Nepali Journalists, the Chief Minister remarked that commuting through KKHT Highway would be possible in two years.

“To stand as an outstanding province, old traditions must be replaced,” CM Poudel said, “We must take few harsh measures, which might not benefit the all, to become exceptional province of the Country.”

On a different note, CM Poudel asked for support from all saying that the provincial government has begun initiatives to make the region free from corruption. “Just like the support from journalists while dismantling the syndicate system, we expect similar initiatives against corruption,” said Poudel.

Likewise, the Chief Minister announced provincial government’s plan to declare 'Industry Year' in the province.

According to the CM Poudel, industries which will be registered during the year will be waived off taxes.
