Kathmandu Valley witnesses dip in temperature

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley has witnessed a decline in temperature following the Dashain festival.

The Valley recorded eight degree Celsius temperature as its lowest point today, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said, projecting the highest temperate at around 25 degree Celsius. The temperature in most parts of the country including the Kathmandu Valley has been stable for some days.

Currently, the minimum temperature in Jumla is 0.7 degree Celsius while the maximum temperature stands at 19.06 Celsius. Similarly, Birendranagar has its lowest temperature at nine and the highest at 19 degree Celsius.

Moreover, Dhankuta recorded 12 degree Celsius as its lowest and 26 degree Celsius as the highest point of temperature.

Analysing the recent trend, the Weather Forecasting Division has warned of further cold in the days to come.
