Keshar Rayamajhi hails peace accordc
Kathmandu, November 11:
Former chairman of the then Raj Parishad Standing Committee, Dr Keshar Jung Rayamajhi has described the agreement between the seven political parties and the Maoists as historic.
Speaking at an interaction programme on ‘’ Constituent Assembly, Arms Management and Secularism’’ organised by the Independent Civil Society Nepal here today, Dr Rayamajhi said many people took undue advantage in the name of the king.
He said it was not necessary to go on making an issue out of the king whose every right has been taken away.
President of the National People’s Liberation Party and former minister Gore Bahadur Khapangi called on the seven political parties and the Maoists to dispel the misunderstanding between them and commit themselves to establish lasting peace in the country.
Former minister Rabindra Nath Sharma said that there should be a complete management of arms for making the election to the constituent assembly free and fair.
Former minister Dinabandhu Aryal spoke on different topics related to religion and ethics.
