MAHOTTARI: A special puja (Khoichha) of Hindu goddess Navadurga Bhawani is being conducted in Mithila Region of Tarai on Tuesday.

As part of the puja, Hindu devotees, who have got their wishes fulfilled, offer worships to the temple of Hindu goddess Durga Bhawani on Fulpati (the seventh day of nine-day Dashain).

Likewise, flowers, fruits and cosmetic materials are offered on the occasion.

Meanwhile, devotees thronged various Hindu temples in Mahottari including the district headquarters, Jaleshwor, early this morning to conduct the puja.

It is believed that conducting the puja would bring one's wishes get fulfilled
