Kin of Nepali killed in Qatar get compensation

CHITWAN: The family of a Nepali migrant worker, who was killed in an accident in Qatar, received Rs 5.8 million in compensation from his employers.

Chitwan's Chief District Officer Binod Prakash Singh handed over a cheque to Dhaneshwar Chaudhary's widow Bisamati today.

Chaudhary's Qatari employers had transferred the damages to the Chitwan District Adminstration Office in order to avail it to the deceased's family.

A permanent resident of Bhandara, Chaudhary had gone to Qatar to work in furniture industry four years ago. He, however, lost his life in a road accident on May 12, 2013.
