KOICA support for optical communication network

KATHMANDU: The Korea International Cooperation Agency Nepal and Korea Nepal Institute of Technology (KNIT) have signed an agreement for a Computer Lab and Optical Communication Network project on Thursday.

Country Director of KOICA Nepal Office, Hyungkyoo Kim, signed the agreement with Chief of KNIT, Arbind Kumar Chaudhary, to lend their support of USD 38,790 to operate an uninterruptible project to let the students there learn efficiently.

In a statement issued by KOICA Nepal today, it also informed that it has planned a project to extend dialysis ward and improve its quality at the Western Regional Hospital in Pokhara.

Similarly, it also stated that KOICA has extended its support of USD 15,825 for a project to improve the x-ray room at the Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital in Baglung.
