Kathmandu, January 19:

Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Girija Prasad Koirala is scheduled to address the party leaders on Tuesday at a meeting of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party at Baluwatar. The event is expected to be a curtain raiser as to what the party will try to achieve in the months ahead.

The meeting, which will be attended by members of the Legislature-Parliament, Central Working Committee (CWC) members of the party, executive members of the sister organisations, is expected to see Koirala coming up with policy option left with the party while the nation is heading towards election to constituent assembly. In yet another decision disseminated today by the party, the central leaders of the party who were deputed to visit all the seventy five districts have been told to be back in the districts and villages until the middle of February.

Meanwhile, the party is expected to come to any decision about its policy option on fate of monarchy only by middle of February when all the central observers come back and file their report of their visits.
