Korean team visits NHRC office
LALITPUR:
A team of Korean human rights activists on Sunday made an inspection visit to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). The delegates who arrived here on September 7 acquired information on the ongoing peace process and various other issues of human rights. Altogether 30 persons are in the team. NHRC’s deputy director Murari Prasad Kharel informed the team about the rights situation in Nepal and the role played by the commission and the work it will do in the future. The Korean rights activists had put various questions on role of the NHRC in the CA polls.
