Won't accept anyone's order, but of people: Oli

KAKADBHITTA: The main opposition CPN-UML Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said that the party would not follow the order of any other force except Nepali people in the issues of nationality.

While inaugurating the Mechi-Mahakali campaign launched from Jhapa today, Oli shared that the UML was awakening the people regarding nationalism pursuant to the Constitution and prevalent laws.

He added that the date for local polls was announced only after the UML's pressure and it should be held at any cost.

Leader Oli said that the Constitution amendment bill could not be passed at any cost, as it was against the national interests and will of the people.

Similarly, party General Secretary Ishwar Pokharel shared that the campaign was launched to strengthen social harmony.

Party senior leaders Jhalanath Khanal and Madhav Kumar Nepal, vice-chairs Bamdev Gautam and Bhim Rawal, Standing Committee members Subas Chandra Nembang and Satya Narayan Mandal among other central leaders were present on the occasion.

Chair Oli inaugurated the campaign by handing the national flag and the party flag to party Province 1 coordinator and party Secretary Bhim Prasad Acharya.
