LAHAN: A pilgrim died and seven other were injured when a tractor met with an accident in Baiharamal VDC-6 of Siraha district along the East-West Highway on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Gauri Ray (18) of Mirchaiya Municipality-8, police informed.

The tractor (Sa 1 Ta 1307), travelling from east to west, lost control and met with the accident.

Among the seven injured, critically injured Bipin Ray (20) of the same municipality is being treated at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, informed DSP Shyam Singh Chaudhary of the Mirchaiya Area Police Office.
