DAMAULI: Senior Citizens’ Home of Tanahun, Byas municipality-8, Chapaghat has bought land for constructing a building for the old age home.

One and a half ropanis of land was bought at the cost of Rs 5.8 million. According to secretary of the old age home, Nirmala Malla, the land was purchased to construct a building for the old age home.

“We have also borrowed a loan for the purpose,” she said.

Meanwhile, the old age home is planning to organise a Shrimad Bhagawat Gyan Mahayagya to raise funds to repay the loan.
