BAITADI: A landslide triggered by incessant rainfall has obstructed Mahakali Highway on Thursday.

Vehicular movement along the highway has been obstructed after the landslip blocked the road at Sanewaj in Malikarjun of Baitadi district since this morning.

Dozens of vehicles heading towards Kathmandu, Mahendranagar, Dhangadi, Dadeldhura, Baitadi and Darchula have been stuck halfway due to the obstruction.

Efforts are underway to clear landslide debris for the road, informed concerned authorities.
