CHITWAN: Vehicular movement along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section, which was obstructed by a landslide at Kalikhola since 6 am today, has resumed.

Landslide obstructs Narayangadh-Muglin road

CHITWAN: The Narayangadh-Muglin road section in Chitwan district has been obstructed due to a landslide triggered by torrential rainfall on Friday.

Traffic movement along the road section has been obstructed since 6 am today after the landslide covered the road at Kalikhola, according to engineer Shiva Khanal at the Muglin-Narayangadh Road Project.

Dozens of vehicles heading towards Kathmandu and Pokhara have been stuck halfway due to the obstruction.

An excavator has been mobilised to remove landslide debris of the road.
