Landslide obstructs Narayangadh-Muglin road again

CHITWAN: A landslide at Chandibhanjyang has obstructed vehicular movement along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section in Chitwan district on Sunday morning.

According to Muglin Area Police Office, the landslide had occurred at 6:30 am.

Meanwhile, the landslip has also damaged two houses belonging to Gore Gurung and Kamal Gurung on the roadside, police added.

Police personnel have already started to clear the debris to resume the transportation along the road.

The vital road section connecting Kathmandu and Pokhara with the East-West Highway has been frequently obstructed since beginning of the monsoon this year as some hills on the roadside were dug during a road expansion project few months back.
