Obstructed Narayangadh-Muglin road section resumes

Vehicular movement, which was obstructed by the landslide triggered by heavy rainfall at Char Kilo in Chandi Bhanjyang VDC-5 of Chitwan district along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section this morning, has resumed.

Landslide obstructs Narayangadh-Muglin road section again

CHITWAN: Vehicular movement along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section has been obstructed again due to a landslide triggered by torrential rainfall on Wednesday.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, traffic movement along the road section has been obstructed since 2 am today after the landslide covered the road at Char Kilo in Chandi Bhanjyang VDC-5 of the district.

According to engineer Shiva Khanal of the Narayangadh-Muglin Road Project, efforts are underway to clear landslide debris from the road.

Dozens of vehicles have been stuck halfway due to the obstruction.

It has been learned that the Narayangadh-Muglin road section had remained affected almost all day yesterday, following landslips occurred at different locations.
