KALIKOT: A village faces the landslide risk at Bachkot of Ramnakot VDC in Kalikot district. Some 120 households are under a menace of landslide that continues ever since the rainy season, said Devi Chandra Acharya. Villagers took shelter in the neighbouring village while others left for their kharkas in the hills. The landslide even displaced local Nava Kiran Primary School, said Principal Pankha Bahadur Shahi. An application has been forwarded to Ministry of Home Affairs peading for the resettlement of the villagers.
