DHADING: Following the departure of Local Development Officer Ramesh Kumar Adhikari from the district owing to Maoists' threats, development works and financial transactions here in the district have been adversely affected. Adhikari chose to leave the district after a UCPN-Maoist CA member Pushpa Bikram Malla threatened him of dire consequences for not giving information regarding the selection of Youth Volunteers for National Planning Commission in the district.
