Left alliance does not bode well for country: Jha

Rautahat, October 8

Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal presidium member Anil Kumar Jha today said the left alliance and subsequent political polarisation had jeopardised the country’s democratic process.

He said there was a need to forge unity among democratic parties to counter the left alliance between CPN-UML and CPN-Maoist Centre.

Speaking at a programme organised by his party in Gaur, Jha said the tendency of Nepal’s communist parties to make and break coalitions in no time had negative consequences for the country. He also said, “Nepali Congress, Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal, RJP-N and some other political parties are working to forge an electoral alliance.”

Jha claimed that the alliance between his party and FSF-N would land them two-thirds majority in the plains in the upcoming polls.
