KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 1
The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted that some regions in the mountainous belt might experience light rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, amidst partially cloudy skies.
According to the MFD, areas in the mountains, particularly the Koshi province, will have partly cloudy conditions, while the rest of the provinces can expect more general weather.
Currently, the nation is under the influence of westerly winds, which are causing these weather patterns. MFD also shared that there's a chance of snowfall in certain high mountainous and hilly areas of the country.
In Kathmandu, the current temperature stands at a comfortable 17 degrees Celsius. Throughout the day, the maximum temperature is expected to reach a pleasant range of 25-27 degrees Celsius.
As the day turns into night, partial cloudiness will persist across the country, as per the MFD.
