The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecasted light snowfall in some parts of the country today.
This afternoon, the mountainous region of Koshi Province will experience partly cloudy conditions, with a chance of light snowfall in one or two locations, according to the Department.
Meanwhile, the hilly region is expected to remain partly cloudy, with the possibility of light rain, thunder, and lightning in isolated areas.
In Madhes Province, the Terai region is likely to witness fair weather throughout the day. Similarly, the mountainous region of Bagmati Province will experience partly cloudy skies.
Gandaki Province's mountainous areas will also see partly cloudy conditions, with a chance of light snowfall in one or two places.
According to the Department, Karnali Province may experience light snowfall in isolated mountainous areas, while its hilly region will remain partly cloudy. Additionally, there is a possibility of light rain, thunder, and lightning in some locations.
Sudurpaschim Province is also expected to have partly cloudy weather in both its mountainous and hilly regions.
