DOLAKHA: A man died after lightning struck him at Gaurimudi-8 in the district Monday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Suman Magar (16) of the same place, police said. Magar was inside the home when lightning struck him.

Critically injured Magar died while she was being taken to Kathmandu for further treatment, police added.

A sudden wind, dust storm and lightning have caused huge damages in the district, it is learnt.
