Limbuwan volunteers all set for movement

DAMAK: Limbuwan Volunteers have received special training as a preparation for a movement.

Federal Limbuwan State Council, affiliated with Sanghiya Loktantrik Rastriya Manch, conducted a session in Damak to train 150 leaders from nine districts of the proposed Limbuwan state. The six-day training was concluded on Friday.

Kumar Lingden, chairman of the Council, said the Volunteers were trained in theory and skills relating to the Limbuwan order. “The youths were trained for a final movement. We believe a Limbuwan state can be realised through a peaceful movement,” he added.

Lingden said the youths were trained and are well informed of the history and culture of Limbuwan. “We have educated them on the history and background of Limbuwan movement,” he added. Faktalung, the central commander of the organisation, also instructed the Volunteers.
