Lions Club provides health equipment to Dhaulagiri Hospital

BAGLUNG: The Lions Club of Baglung has provided various medical equipment worth Rs 1.6 million to the Baglung-based Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital.

The equipment was provided with the financial support of ANT -- an Italian non-government organisation, in collaboration with the Nepal-based organisation Day One Health, and MTTS.

Medical equipment used in aiding childbirth are among the 18 various types of equipment provided to the hospital, according to Prakash Chalise, President of Lions Club, Baglung.

Baglung Municipality mayor, Janak Raj Poudel, handed over the equipment to the hospital's chief Sagar Rajbhandari on Tuesday.
