NEW DELHI: Nepali Sammelan Delhi, an organisation working for promoting Nepali literature in India, has condoled the death of renowned scholar Dr Kamala Sankrityanan. She had died at the age of 79 in Silliguri on Sunday. Sankirtyanan had a doctorate on "Comparative Study of Bhanubhakta's Nepali Ramayana and Tulisdas'Ramcharitmanas," from Agra University in 1959. Kamala was former vice-president of Akhil Bharatiya Nepali Bhasha Samiti.
