KATHMANDU: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) on Monday announced to increase the weekly power-cut from 12 hours to 16 hours,

starting Wednesday. According to NEA, it has no option but to go for additional outage in view of depleting water level in hydel projects due to the onset of winter. Earlier, the government had promised that the outage would not exceed 10 hours a week.
