PANCHTHAR: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has finalised the leadership of all locals levels in Panchthar district after unification process.

NCP (NCP) confirmed the working committee members, including the chair and secretary, in one municipality and seven rural municipalities of the district.

The decisions were taken by a taskforce coordinated by central member of the party and former state minister Dambar Singh Sambahamphe.

The taskforce made the names of the chairs and secretaries of the local levels public, on Thursday, through a press meet. In Phidim Municipality, headquarters of Panchthar district, Birendra Tumbapo has been appointed chair of the municipality while Devi Thapa Magar is the secretary.

Likewise, positions of chairs and secretaries have also been filled in the district's rural municipalities after completing the process of unification between the then CPN-UML and CPN Maoist Centre.
