LETANG: Irate locals on Tuesday afternoon attacked the Area Police Office, Letang. The incident occurred after a police van collided with a motorcycle injuring three persons riding it. All three injured as well as a police constable Jawananda Jha, injured in an ensuing attack by locals, are undergoing treatment at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan. The police said that the locals even attacked the hospital accusing its staff of carelessness.
