LSC-R shuts down Phidim

PHIDIM: The Limbuwan State Council-Revolutionary (LSC-R) shut down Phidim bazaar on Wednesday demanding the unconditional release of its 21 cadres arrested on charges of vandalism and robbery.

LSC-R coordinator Hom Yaba issued a notice urging the closure of educational institutions, shops and factories in Panchthar district until their demands are met.

Police had arrested 21 cadres of LSC-R on April 27, for vandalising and robbing goods from the office of Democratic National Forum affiliated to Limbuwan State Council in Phidim bazaar.
