Madhesi alliance dominates Parsa poll results

The Madhesi alliance has won four parliamentary seats in Parsa.

Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal won the polls in Parsa constituencies 1, 2 and 3, while Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal clinched victory in constituency No 4. Laxman Lal Karna from RJP-N won the parliamentary election in this constituency defeating his closet rival Ramesh Rijal of Nepali Congress with 6,036 votes. While Karna garnered 20,738 votes while Rijal got 14,702 votes. Left alliance candidate Urmila Aryal could manage only 9,617 votes.

Similarly, Hari Narayan Rauniyar from FSF-N won parliamentary polls in Constituency No 3, outvoting his closet rival NC’s Surendra Chaudhary by 1,359 vote.

Likewise, Bimal Prasad Shreebastab from FSF-N won the parliamentary polls defeating his closest rival from NC Ajaya Kumar Chaurasiya by 1,465 votes in Constituency-2.

FSF-Nepal candidate Pradeep Yadav won the election in the Constituency No 1 beating his closet rival from the

NC Anil Kumar Rungta by 4,642 votes.

Jannat Ansari and Lal Babu Raut from FSF-N won the provincial elections in Constituency No 1 ‘Ka’ and ‘Kha’ respectively.

Likewise, NC’s Rajeshwor Sah Teli won the provincial polls in Constituency No 2 ‘Ka’. FSF-N’s Abdul Rahim Ansari was elected to the provincial assembly in Constituency No 3 ‘Ka’. Similarly, NC’s Shankar Prasad Chaudhary and FSF-N’s Sinhasan Sah Kalawar were also elected to the provincial assembly in Constituency No 4 ‘Ka’ and ‘Kha’ respectively.

Vote counting is under way in the remaining provincial constituencies.
