SAPTARI: Cadres of the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) vandalised a bus here this morning.

The UDMF cadres vandalised a passenger bus (Na 5 Kha 282) in Panchkilo along the Rajbiraj-Rupani road section. The bus was heading towards Kathmandu from Rajbiraj.

The windscreen of the bus was shattered during the attack. The bus driver, Mahendra Yadav of Sarswar-5, Saptari district, has been injured in the incident, according to the District Police Office, Saptari.

He is undergoing treatment at the Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital, Rajbiraj.
